Physcn Assist Cardiothoracic-Main OR

Florida state board Physician Assistant Licensure is required. Two years' experience as a practicing Physician Assistant required. Required certification by National Commission of Certified Physician Assistants. Certification of Training in Endoscopic Vein Harvesting. Current demonstrated competence and an adequate volume of current experience with acceptable results and certification by, or formal active participation in the examination process leading to certification by the American Board of Surgical Assistants (ABSA) and or National Board of Surgical Technology and Sutgical assisting (NBSTSA). Physician Assistants and Nurse Practioners must provide evidence of Florida licensure and documentation of having first assisted on at least 400 clinical cardiothoracic surgical cases or 1500 clinical cardiothoracic hours at a JCAHO accrediated facility during the last two years where the applicant was listed as the surgical assistant on the record.
