The Quality Performance Improvement (PI) Analyst is responsible for medical records reviews and data abstractions. Ensures data is accurate, reliable, and reported timely. Performs analysis and reports, collaborates with other departments and provide appropriate feedback to create effective and sustained change. The Quality PI Analyst uses independent judgment and assists/facilitate the department director or designee meet departmental objectives. Experience using Microsoft applications.
Must have one of the following: a licensed Registered Nurse with BSN; OR foreign trained physician; OR have a bachelors degree in healthcare related field. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification with at least 6 months validity required. One year experience in clinical/specialty area required; three years' experience preferred. Ability to demonstrate literacy in using computerized information systems.
