Experience: Two years of critical respiratory therapy experience, preferred.
Education: Associate degree from a respiratory therapy education program within CoArc, AMA or NBRC, preferred.
Licensure Certification: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) NBRC certification is required. Licensed by the State of Florida as Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification with at least 6 months validity required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification may be required for RRT's based on business unit or departmental needs. The RRT must maintain all unit specific and organizational skills/competencies, certifications/licensures, as required by the service area.
Knowledge Skill Abilities: Ability to demonstrate literacy in using computerized information systems.
