Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in sociology, psychology, or human relations supplemented by considerable experience as a professional social caseworker; or graduation from an accredited graduate School of Social Work.
- Incumbents hired into this after classification AFTER 7/1/2008 MUST possess a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or Doctoral degree in Social Work from a CSWE accredited school of social work.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification with at least 6 months validity required.
- Ability to demonstrate literacy in using computerized information systems.
