High school diploma is required. A minimum of 3 years of experience is required. Most experience must be within a hospital patient access or patient finance department with some knowledge of transplant services. Prior roles should reflect some insurance verification and customer service experience. Must be knowledgeable in third party payer eligibility and benefit verification. Strong verbal, active listening and written communication skills required. Must be self-directed, thorough, and committed to a team approach. Should have strong resource management skills, including the ability to effectively manage one's time.
