Selection Criteria:
Bachelor’s degree in the field of engineering, architectural or building sciences an construction management, with 10 years of project management experience in construction and at least 8 years of experience in healthcare required. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, 15 years of project management experience in construction required. Extensive experience in the design, construction, and management of building construction projects, including a supervisory capacity. Knowledge of a variety of building construction types is desirable. Demonstrated extensive knowledge of construction cost estimating, scheduling, budgeting/cost control, field supervision, financial reporting, engineering principles and techniques and the ability to read and interpret
Architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of various construction methods and materials, their characteristics, installation procedures, and tolerances. Demonstrated management know-how, leadership, and interpersonal
skills. Ability to communicate well-both verbally and in writing. Must work well independently and can prioritize. Experience or training in project management systems (i.e. Primavera, Microsoft Project, e-Builder, Newforma, etc.) is preferred. Proficient with computer systems such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Prior experience working with a Healthcare
facility is required. LEED accreditation preferred or being pursued.
