Clin Info Analyst 2
This coordinates, develops, implements and supports our clinical hospital information system (HIS). Plans, conducts, and analyzes feasibility studies for the purpose of developing and modifying very large, highly complex clinical data processing systems in specialized subject matter fields such as Registration, Scheduling, Order Entry, Radiology, Pharmacy, Lab, Medical Records or Surgical Scheduling systems.
High school diploma or equivalent. Coursework from an accredited college/university, professional nursing, medicine, physician assistant program, military or other training in information systems preferred. Five years active and progressive experience in a clinical IS or healthcare environment required. Special emphasis on project management, user relations, data gathering techniques, management information systems required. Experience in Cerner's Millennium Clinical Suite of products highly preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and leadership abilities. Proven problem solving skills and the ability to succesfully implement changes. Ability to maintain positive work relationships with all levels within the organization.
