Project Manager IT
The incumbent manages all aspects of system implementation in order to meet customer expectations and maintain a high level of quality through communications, customer service, and organizational practices. The reports to the Senior Vice President/CIO and is responsible for the management of high- visibility strategic projects which span the Enterprise. The incumbent will establish collaborative relationships with Administrators, Clinicians, Technical staff, consultants and Vendors as required by specific projects. This position will have a significant role in the administration or preparation of the departments or the organization's budget. This position acts in a confidential capacity to assist or aid the Director or Associate Director in the department.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred. Three to five years IT management experience, with a proven ability to handle large complex projects. Working knowledge of project management tools, repositories and system development life cycle methodologies is required. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Experience in project management. Position requires exercise of independent judgment.
